the origins of Schroeder 😊
Who's the drummer? RUclips's "Show More" used to show at least the composer's name, but all that seems to have changed for the worse. Meanwhile, one commenter here wrote that the base player is a "young NHOP," but in fact it's Chuck Israels. MarkT
Wonderful, both of you,and a great tribute to the greatest jazz singer ever. Rest in peace, Mr. Mark Murphy.
Fabulous Lady from Detroit 💖

Im here for Tokio Blues

How have I only just found this guy? Moments like this make me realise as much of a jazz enthusiast I am, I’m ignorant as hell. Had this on loop and fell right to sleep. It’s almost like Debussy, deceptively simple but entirely complex with emotion.
Some of the comments here are as beautiful as the deeply moving spiritual playing of the late Bill Evans. The piano was an extension of his mind. So sad that it was his reliance on hard drugs that finished him off. None of us walked in his shoes - the life of jazz musicians is a stressful one and it has driven so many to propping themselves up with drugs. That is so sad.
❤ Wow. Amazing.
Can anyone tell me when and where this was recorded please!
March 19, 1965 BBC studio, London, UK

Electric guitar or tenor sax. What other instruments are there? No offense to other people who find there voices elsewhere.❤ We need you to make Our dreams come true. Thanks a--holes.😂❤
この曲がmy first jazzだったので、他の曲を聞いた時の驚きったら。

Que hace messi tocando el cotrabajo ?
Bill Evans' music will forever be part of my soul. it touches my heart every time.
The opening notes to this piece are totally amazing. This totally compresses the feeling of sadness, often brought up by a failed relationship, a break-up or even a discussion. This is basically a way to capture the pain that's bringed up by failing your own feelings.
不思議な力があって、美しい。。。やっぱり好きだなあ、、
Smooth and sweet.
This man is the art incarnated
The man was just in perfect rhythm with the universe here

My dad The Great Kaeef Crowley would call me and sing this song and I just tuned in, because I miss him. Sure is good to hear real jazz. 🎹
